Card requirements depend on the supplier
There is no single rule for collecting a car in Ankara without a credit card. Some suppliers require a credit card in the main driver’s name for a deposit and may not accept debit, virtual cards or cash. Paying online does not waive pickup requirements. Read the selected offer’s payment, deposit and pickup terms separately.
Ask before booking
If you only have a debit card, ask support to confirm in writing whether the specific car and pickup office accept it before paying. Also ask whether the cardholder must be the driver, the deposit amount and when the hold is released. Do not rely on a “no credit card” search headline without confirmation.
